Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono replied a letter of former treasurer of Democratic Party Nazaruddin, a graft suspect, which the latter`s sent to the president on August 18, 2011.

The presidential special assistant for legal affairs, Denny Indrayana, in a press conference at the Presidential Palace here on Sunday said the President`s letter was sent to Nazaruddin on Sunday afternoon.

In the president`s letter which was read out by Denny, Yudhoyono insisted he would never intervene in the legal case of Nazaruddin.

"Relating to the legal proceedings you are facing, let us all subject to the rule of law in this country. In any legal case, involving anyone, I never, will never, and indeed should not interfere in the legal process that must be independent, free from any intervention," said Denny, quoting the President`s letter.

The President in his letter suggested Nazaruddin to be cooperative to undergo all the legal process that is going on because the president believed the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will work professionally, independently and fairly, Denny said.

In the meantime, the Democratic Party politician, Ruhut Sitompul at Yudhoyono`s residence in Cikeas, West Java on Sunday night said that chief patron of the ruling Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono read out his letter for the graft suspect Nazaruddin before a number of party`s top brass in Puri Cikeas, Bogor, West Java on Sunday.

"Bp (Mr) Yudhoyono directly read out the letter," Ruhut said.

Ruhut said Yudhoyono read the letter entirely when giving directives to the Democratic party cadres. Yudhoyono wrote the letter in response to Nazaruddin`s letter to the president.

According to Ruhut, the event taking place at Yudhoyono`s residence begins with reflections delivered by a Democratic party politician, Ahmad Mubarok, and then followed by breaking the fast together.

The event took place in a family atmosphere, Ruhut said, explaining that on the occasion Yudhoyono sat near the First Lady

Ani Yudhoyono, Edhie Baskoro, and Anas Urbaningrum.

In the meantime, another Democratic party politician Achsanul Kosasih said there was no discussion about Nazaruddin during the event.

Yudhoyono`s directives, according to Kosasih were only related to the consolidation of the party cadres.

Currently, Patrick is running a limited schedule for Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s JR Motorsports team in the Nationwide Series. When asked prior to the Brickyard 400 about Patrick making the full-time move, Earnhardt said that he had a good feeling about the contract negotiations.
"I feel confident that she's content where she is and happy with what we're doing," Earnhardt said. "I think things are looking positive for us to put something together."
But Earnhardt Jr. doesn't field a Sprint Cup Series team.
So what are her Sprint Cup Series options?
JR Motorsports is affiliated with Hendrick Motorsports, but Junior has shown no interest (at least not yet) in fielding a Cup team. Hendrick is at the four-car limit — Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Earnhardt and Kasey Kahne (starting in 2012) — so it can't field another car. That leaves Stewart-Haas Racing which, according to The Associated Press report, could field a car for Patrick on a limited basis in 2012.
